I forgot to write that this is going to be my new toy. I hope to pick it up this coming Saturday. It should be so cool. What is it you ask? Simply, it is an mp3 player shaped as a casette tape, which I can insert into any casette deck, and have mp3s playing. This will rock in the car, as I won't need anything else (i.e. casette adapter) to enjoy music in my vehicle. It also means I won't need to accumulate enough music to burn onto a CD. And now I can also listen to music while I'm on my bike, so I won't be so bored. I'm excited.

I was looking very hard for an PDA/MP3 combo, but just couldn't find a decent one for a cheap price. So much for convergence. My only concern will be battery life, as it lasts anywhere from 4 - 7 hours only before needing a 3 hour recharge. I could buy a car charger with the unit, as it's only ~$20 CDN, I'll see.

Since the online site I bought from is in Toronto, I save the $12 shipping charge, and since I am paying cash, I won't have to pay the taxes. Finally, I hope I can get a last minute deal off the guy. All in all, this is a $200 investment towards my sanity and enjoyment.

...but it's kinda expensive, n'est pas?
