Got an email from Hobbs today from HK. (I can't remember I used to call him, so his new nick is Hobbs.)

Six months back to the motherland, and he's been sick every other week. Dropped 25 pounds, although he's been working out 3 times a week. Freaky.

There was an iota of a seedling in me that wants to work in HK. Having been born and party raised there, I've had a twitch of a desire to run back and establish a career in the East. My command of the English language is fairly proficient, which would be a huge asset if I was to work for an international company....

Well Eighty-Six that idea! After hearing how terrible Hobbs is doing, there's no way I can afford to lose 25 pounds in my already slim figure. Heck, I'd be a walking twig. Imagine a straw doing a "paraquette" (I can't spell that word....). That's me.

Incidently, I just learned a new word purblind - adj. slow in perceiving or understand. Cool.

....it also means partly blind, but the other meaning is a little more relevent.
