"Well, Snoopygirl went to the hospital last night with stomach pains, and they said she had appendicitis. So she went in today for surgery, then oops! the doctors found out it was just the stomach flu. The ER doctors must be overworked."

Now, that must suck. Snoopygirl, I hope you're feeling mucho better soono. Did they take out your vermiform appendix anyway, just as a preemptive measurement against future infections? I mean, you're already laying there and opened up, they might as well.
