Well looky here, all depressed and ready to soar over the Bloor viaduct.

Then I get an email from my cousin gizzardslap, who helps run DealUniversity, when he sends me a simple little email via his cell phone. "your camera has arrived. this is gizzardslap."

Awesome! At the current exchange rate, it's about $967, give or take a dollar. Not too shabby. Still cost me less if I bought it in Canada, which would have been: $1379.98. I may have been able to get a better price in Toronto, but I just couldn't find anyone willing to sell me the camera for much less than the full monty. Even smaller stores said they couldn't go much lower, and the bigger ones like Henry's, didn't even budge. That's a saving of $412.98!

Henry's price on camera and genuine Fuji SmartMedia card. Now add in 15% tax, and it's like BAM. Instant pain. Actually, the smartmedia is pretty good deal, a supposed savings of $100. Even if I go to some Chinese joint, the best I can do is what, $50 off and no tax. That's still a saving of ~$182. Of course, now I have to wait a month for him to bring it up.

Gawd, I sound like such a twit sometimes. Sorry if I sound like an idiot. I'm sad, okay?! I don't have much to be happy about. My life is pitiful. I don't go out, I don't party, and I definitely have no clue as to what's going on at work.
