I'm debating whether I should be getting this cam


Here's a review of the camera.

The main negative point is the price, at $900 US, it is an extremely expensive camera. However, I can get it for $562US here

I've checked the Better Business Bereau, and they're listed as a partner of the BBB, which is as much of a guarantee as you're likely to get from an online shop.

There's also a webboard that talks about various dig.cam online shopping experiences, and generally, buydig.com, aka Beach Cameras, aka WordWide Direct appears to be above average. Plus they do have the lowest price on the net for the camera I want.

Initially, I wanted the 4800 zoom. But for an extra ~$68 dollars (US), I can get the same functional camera with double the capacity for video/audio recording. And I get a higher resolution camera so that in the future, if I want to print them out, I can. Better quality too.
