I never followed dirt track racing simply because it's never been my thing. Truth be told, I don't understand the fascination of going round and around, sliding feet first around dirt.

So, it's safe to bet that most of my readers have never heard of Will Davis either.

From what I saw on TV, Mr. Davis was an accomplished dirt track racer who never really won a championship, but he's done so many great things for the sport, and have been around the dirt track racing world for so long, he was nearly a living legend. Unfortunately, he had a fatal accident just last weekend.

Here is an amazing tribute by I would guess one of his friends? Man, it put tears in my eyes. It's made me realize that life is indeed too short, and we must grab it by two handfuls, enveloping ourselves into the joy of just being alive to see sunshine and cool breeze across our skin.

....Jolt myself back to reality.
