I think I'm learning a lot about patience.

This car business is starting to wear me thin. I hate stressing about it, I hate thinking about it, I hate worrying the fact there's a real chance I won't be able to drive it up this year.

I heard that they expect a lot more snow this season, which will start earlier, and end later. Just my luck.

I'll tell you what though, I'm thankful just having the S.

....I don't want to store my treasures on this earth though.

I'm starting to work heavily with Linux at the Company.

No wonder they give the OS away, there'd be no way normal people (or your parents) would ever pay for it.

Granted, I'm a Linux n00b, and even DOS commands are long behind me. However, I just can't get excited about wanting to change a screen resolution and I have to first stop the xserver, memorize and type in a bunch of arcane settings, and then: startx

Yes, I'm spoiled by Windows. I've no love for any specific OS because the OS should be a platform for launching applications, and not as a user experience. However, Linux as a mainstream product is far from being consumer ready. Yes they've come a long way, but until they can get to the point where you can completely (or 95% of the time) drop the terminal or back to the command line proper, it'll never fly.

....And that my friends, is the end of my rant.

I was play fighting with Cankles last night when it got a little rowdy. Basically without getting too much into it, she was mad and started to scream and shout, both hands trying to half-strangle/half hit me while I held her at bay with one arm, as I'm texting back a message she didn't want me to send with her phone. That's what you get when you pass digits to men who hit on you on movie sets.

Anyway, we were both mad, but giggling, all the while Mooch the dumb dog is watching.

All of a sudden, Cankle yelps. "Ouch!"

We both stop. Mooch bit her in the bum. I guess he was on my side.

....Good doggy. Good boy.

Tonight my dog once again ran away. It saw a gap in our double-door/porch security, and at the first chance it got, it took off.

I chased it a little, okay across the street, and tried to grab him by the collar, but he escaped.

I walked back into the house, an hour later, when I finally calmed down enough to look for him, a nice girl was in my porch with said dog. She said it was sitting outside.

....I will sell him tomorrow.

The funny thing about internet forums (aka as BBS) is that everyone can give an opinion. While this is sometimes bad, it can also be good.

Take for example the picture I posted earlier of the 3 different S2000 gauges. I thought I was complete, but I was wrong.

Someone else gave the "definitive" sequence of dashboard pictures: HERE

....And now you know, and knowing is half of the battle.

Bored tonight, so I'm posting the different S2K dashes over the years.

Top is for older 00-05 dashboard (as far as I know). 06 and 07 is the middle (mine), and bottom is for 08.

I'm not sure which I like the best. I thought that mine was the bee's knees. I love the big half-moon fuel gauge, but when I saw the newer 08, it's so much cleaner, and yet, sort of boring.

....Yes, I'm this bored.

I've been throwing random words together in my head lately. I just take random words, and string them into a sentence or product name.

I don't know why I do it, heck, I don't even remember any of them (I tried hard, but drew a blank) - but it's just something fun to do.

....Mooch loves his bone.
