Friends

My Friends = The people I like to have around, others too just can't think right now especially my old ones who go to Pearson now. No need to list them as they know who they are =).

For My Friends

Friends are forever

In Kindergarten your idea of a Good friend was the person who let you have the red crayon when all that was left was the ugly brown one.

In 1st grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who went to the bathroom with you and held your hand as you walked through the scary halls.

In 2nd grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who helped you to stand up to the class bully.

In 3rd grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who shared their lunch with you when you forgot yours on the bus.

In 4th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who was willing to switch square-dancing partners in gym so you wouldn't have to be stuck do-si-doing with Nasty Nick or Smelly Samantha.

In 5th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who saved a seat on the back of the bus for you.

In 6th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who went up to your new crush and asked them to dance with you, so that if they said no you wouldn't have to be embarrassed.

In 7th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who let you copy the social studies homework from the night before that you had not done.

In 8th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who helped you pack up your stuffed animals and old soccer cards so that your room would be a 'high schooler room', but didn't laugh at you when you finished and broke into tears.

In 9th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who went to that 'cool party' thrown by a senior so that you would not be the only freshman there.

In 10th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who drove you to school before you could drive so you wouldn't have to ride the bus.

In 11th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who convinced your parents that you shouldn't be grounded, consoled you when you broke up with your sweetie, made time for you even when they had a sweetie.

In 12th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who helped you pick out a college, assured you that you would get into that college, helped you deal with your parents who were having a hard time adjusting to the idea of letting you go.

At graduation your idea of a Good friend was the person who was crying on the inside but managed the biggest smile one could give as they congratulated you.

The summer after 12th grade your idea of a Good friend was the person who helped you clean up the (root beer) bottles from that party, helped you sneak out of the house when you just couldn't deal with your parents, helped you pack for college and just silently hugged you as you looked through blurry eyes at 18 years of memories you were leaving behind.

Now, your idea of a Good friend is still the person who gives you the better of two choices, holds your hand when you're scared, helps you fight off those who try to take advantage of you, thinks of you at times when you are not there, reminds you of what you have forgotten, helps you put the past behind you but understands when you need to hold on to it a little longer, stays with you so that you have confidence, goes out of their way to make time for you, helps you clear up your mistakes, helps you deal with pressure from others, smiles for you when you are sad, helps you become a better person, and most importantly loves you!

THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND.

Who They Are

End of Grade 10 Perspective

Friends are something to be treasured and to have friends makes all the difference in the world when you're feeling down. They can give you support, love, and they don't bullshit you. Damn I'm lucky to have you guys because you guys are all that and more. I met so many new people and made so many new friends at Dief. At the begininning of grade 10 at Dief, I was so scared about what the people in my class would be like and everything. Turns out, I didn't really need to worry at all. The only regret about coming to Dief is how I grew so out of touch with my old friends and everything. It's like what my old friends told me to try to avoid 'High school changes people so make sure that it doesn't change you'. It doesn't look like i followed that advice too well. During the summer, I find myselves trying to pick up the phone and call some of you but I find that I can't and that hurts. It's like I've lost my past life when we were all at Sansom and having fun. I still hope that I can come and visit you guys at Pearson but it'll be hard and I'll try to talk to you all. At Dief though, the friends I've made have been great, you peoples are da bomb =).

Shoutoutz

Lilian - Best friends forever. =) Best of luck. Since I'm probably going to U of C next year, we'll still see each other around, count on it.

Patrick - I've come to see a different side of you and a new dimension as somebody so much more. You're a very weird guy sometimes and funny too, we always end up talking about the weirdest things. Such as your rapid rating scale. The rough times that we experience now will pay itself off one day when we're in the real world. No more white clouds please.

Jason - It's been great to get to know you. Teach me to whip that frisbee further. Ultimate is fun, we should play again soon. Man, I hope you and Pat don't plan a new way to attack Vicky, I don't think she deserves it. Glad that I can count on you as a good friend. MisionRisk Ace.

Roxanna - How are you my only son, lol, I hope that you are having fun and watching all those fav tv shows. Already, you've been a pretty fun/funny person to hang out with. The one thing I hope you learn from your old pops: Never disrespect me! =). Skittles are yummy

Jones A.K.A Micheal Jones - School's much better now isn't it after you dropped french? Such a mac phreak and game cube guy. You the Caucasian lol, that cracked me up the first time you said that. You're also a great programmer, not the best yet, but you'll be someday and when you do you have to promise not to take over the world with invasive, hidden software lol.Keep up the good work and don't get too weird/wired. What's cool is that on that iflurtz thing you got me as your best friend - nice. Take it east with that ranting and be carfeul not to go overboard.

Phil Louie - you mofo man it's been good to talk to you those past times on icq and msn. I've really gotten to know you better than last year where I heard about you form Pat and Jason. Your garbage can move is a legend still, it's called pulling a Phil, lol. Have fun in university, come visit us sometime. Lol Fist!!!

Chris Hong - Hey godson. You have got to stop acting weird. It's getting scarier every time. One of these days you're going to overdo it and become a bonafide weirdo. Don't let the "Monster" out now that you bought that Frankenstein DVD. Good idea by adopting Marvin. He's monkin cool.

Renee - You smile so much lol, but that's good - always smile. Doing so good now that there's no more stress eh, that's really good. Haven't talked to you in a while b/c we have no classes and TA's pretty short. Is it my turn to write? I lost track :p

Karen - Here's your little para. I'm going to make sure that Gary becomes like me and not like pat or hong lol. Bob left and he said he was going to wander around and find the true meaning of life. He told me to tell you to wait for him because he'll come back for you :p. How did you feel when you learned who your male counterpart was?

Nancy - Well you wanted a shout, I'm sorry I missed your bday. Hope you're having fun in university. Keep drawing.

All those YVC people - thanks guys for making my last year a headache! lol kidding. I enjoyed it alot. I hope you all did too.
