For the 2008 season, Ty came into the year late in the year, just wanting to try some things out. He experienced some success as he won 2 ARCA races including Daytona and the USAR Nothern Series Jennerstown race.
Ty took part in the 2008 Pick Madness and worked with Jr Prince & 88Pop to finish 2nd, 643 points behind 1st.
