Truex Alliance

TruexAllianceNo.1fan came into his first season at Ashley’s Palace in 2007 at the request of his dear friend Truex Prince. Success wasn’t meant to be the perfect thing for him but he did manage to finish 15th in overall points with 6 wins. His biggest success came in the truck series as he got 11th in points and 2 wins. Despite not scoring a good points position in cup or Busch, he did manage to get some wins there. For starters, he won the Pepsi 400 for his special first cup win and then managed to knock off 3 Busch wins. TruexAllianceNo.1fan is a proud member of the Truex Alliance in which they finished 5th in team points overall. They also managed to gain 2 records: most Busch races won in a row by a team and the most truck races won in a row by a team.
TruexAllianceNo.1fan failed to make the 2007 Overall Chase, yet qualified for the Truck Chase, finishing 11th.
For 2008, he'd barely qualify for the superior chase as he'd make it in through Gateway to finish 12th, 18 points ahead of 13th. He did better in the Nationwide Series as he won 4 races including the Food City 250. Even though his truck win count (1 win - Kansas) was lower than the Nationwide side, he managed to make the chase in 12th position, 16 points ahead of 13th. Also, he left his mark in the ARCA Series as he won 2 races with his first being at Kansas and in the East Series as he won 2 races with Walkin's Glen & Lime Rock on his way to finishing 10th in points there. He continued his success in the USAR Northern Series as he won 2 races with those being Milwaukee and Jennerstown. Though he would have lots of success in the USAR Southern Series by winning the most races of anybody with 5 on his way to finishing 4th in points; those races he won were USA International, Concord, Milwaukee, the 4 Brothers 250, and Bristol.
In the 2008 Chase, TruexAllianceNo.1fan didn’t do that bad as he finished 9th in the Superior Chase with 4 wins, 7th in USAR Champions, and 8th in the East Chase, 72 points out of 1st. Despite not making the Nationwide or Truck Chases, that’s where most of wins came as he won 3 Nationwide races & the Lucas Oil 150 truck race.
