For the 2008 season, SirChild came into it late with it being his first year, just trying to see if it would be fun. In the regular season, he right away showed that he'd be a contender throughout the future as he won 3 cup races including the Coca Cola 600, the Camping World RV Sales 200 Nationwide race, and the Kansas truck race. Though he proved his strength even more as he'd win 3 ARCA races, with his first being Kentucky, on his way to finishing 13th in points, 5 points out of 12th. He then went on to win a series high 3 races in the East Series with wins at Boston, Nashville, and Mansfield. In the West Series, he continued showing his strength as he won 3 races with those being All American Speedway, Phoenix, and Miller. He also showed he was strong in the USAR Northern Series as he won 2 races with Rockford and the Miller Lite 250 on his way to finishing 9th in points.
In the 2008 Chase, SirChild didn’t do too good as he finished 14th in USAR Champions.
