For the 2008 season, MissyChild came into it late with it being her first year, just trying to see if it would be fun. In the regular season, she right away showed that she'd be a contender throughout the future as she'd win 3 cup races, including 2 big ones with the Coca Cola 600 & the All-State 400 at the Brickyard. She continued to show her strength in the Truck Series as she won 2 races including her first at Atlanta, in the ARCA Series as she won 3 races including the Allan Crowe 300, and in the West Series as she won 2 races with those being Phoenix and Miller. She also showed some strength in the East Series as she won at Boston and in the USAR Southern Series by winning at USA International. Despite not winning a race in the USAR Nothern Series, she managed to pull off an 11th place points finish, qualifying for the chase in the final race by 10 points.
In the 2008 Chase, MissyChild turned some heads as she finished 6th in the USAR Champions Chase with a win in the Charlie Campball Memorial Sears Auto Center 250.
