For the 2008 season, it was her first year so therefore it equalled some trying fun. In the regular season, she right away showed that he'd be a contender throughout the future as she would finish fifth in superior and seventh in overall. Despite not winning any cup races, she would finish 9th in points. Though she'd have some success the rest of the way as she'd win 6 Nationwide including the Food City 250 and 2 Truck races including her first at Kansas. She'd go on to win 5 ARCA races with her first being the ARCA 200 on her way to finishing 2nd in points, 180 out of the lead. Though one of her strongest points would be the East Series as she'd win the most races of anybody with 3 on her way to finishing 3rd in points; those races she won were Nashville, Lime Rock, and Mansfield. Also, she won 3 west races with those races being Texas, Iowa, and Infineon on her way to finishing 8th in points. She also showed some strength in the USAR Northern Series as she won a race at Mansfield on her way to finishing 4th in points. Though she was stronger in it's counter part the USAR Southern Series with wins as she won 2 races with those being Georgia and the 4 Brothers 250 on her way to finishing 11th in points.

In the 2008 Chase, Lil Tigre’s Angel kept on her good talent of her first year by finishing 5th in the Superior Chase with 4 wins, 9th in Overall with a win, and 7th in West. She then fell off a bit as she finished 10th in the Cup Chase. But despite that, she fought back hard and became the ARCA Chase Champion as she won by 185 points over 2nd with a series-high 3 wins. She kept this goodness going as she finished 3rd in East, 43 points behind 1st. But she blew it at the end as she finished 13th in USAR Champions. Despite not making the Nationwide Chase, she won the O’Reilly Challenge at Texas.
