Jr Prince came straight out of the box proving he was a threat to be a contender, not holding anything back. He came up just a bit short of winning the 2006 regular season championship, finishing 2nd. But he showed he was an awesome picker by winning the 2006 Chase.

The 2007 season didn’t prove to as successful yet some success was still found. He finished 4th overall as he gained 9 wins during the season. In the cup series, he got 5th, his lowest points finish of the year, while gaining only 1 cup win which came at Michigan. He also found a 4th place finish in the Busch while gaining 4 wins. But where he stood out was the truck series. In the truck series, he won the championship with his 4 wins. He also got the record for the most truck races in a row as he got 2 wins in a row. In the team 2nd, he finished 2nd overall as captain of the Jr Nation Squad. Also for the 2nd half of the year, he played a part as an honorable member for the Hendrick Fan Squad Leaders in which they finished 3rd in team points. The Hendrick Fan Squad also achieved the award for the most cup races in a row per team with 2.
Jr Prince looked to come into the 2007 chase and back up his 2006 championship, but that wasn’t meant to be as he finished 4th overall with 3 wins. Also, he finished 3rd in the Cup chase with no wins, 5th in Busch with 2 and 5th in Truck with 1
For the 2008 season, he once again would do good as he'd finish 8th in superior and 11th in overall. Also, once again he'd only get 1 cup win by winning the Chevy Rock n Roll 400 and finish 11th, though he made up for that in the Nationwide Series as he won a series high 7 races, including the Federated Auto Parts 300 & Food City 250, but he'd only make it to 9th in points. He wouldn't show much strength in the Truck Series he'd only win a race at as Milwaukee on his way to finishing 12th in points, 17 points ahead of 13th after a hard fought battle that he won in the final race. In the ARCA Series, he'd win only 2 races, including his first at Toledo, on his way to finishing 8th in points. He also left his mark in the West series with it's first year as he won 3 races with those being Phoenix, Iowa and Infinion on his way to finishing 6th in points. He also showed his strength in the East series as he won at Iowa on his way to finishing 9th in points. Finally in the USAR Southern Series, he won the Greased Lightning 250.
In the 2008 Chase, Jr Prince disappointed himself among others as he finished 8th in the Superior Chase with 3 wins. Though he got back to his old ways, partly, as he finished 4th in the Overall Chase with 2 wins and 5th in the Truck Chase with a win in the Quik Liner Las Vegas 150. But it then dropped down a bit as he finished 9th in the Cup Chase with a win the TUMS QuikPack 500, 7th in the Nationwide Chase, 10th in the ARCA Chase, and last in the West Chase. Despite not making the East Chase, he won the Helluva Good! Fall 150.
Jr Prince took part in the 2008 Pick Madness and worked with Ty & 88Pop to finish 2nd, 643 points behind 1st.
