Gordon Prince is a well-known member at Ashley�s Palace Awards as he is leader of the ever-growing discussion board. But he has also proved to a front runner in some divisions in the picking department.
In 2006, he finished 2nd in the overall points.
In 2007, he didn�t match that finish as he finished 6th overall with 12 wins. He found success in the cup series however as he finished 4th in points, plus won 6 races. These 6 races tied him with Smurfy as having the most wins in one season record. He also found 4 Busch wins as he placed 8th in Busch points. But his downfall was in truck as he didn�t make the chase and only scored one win at Mansfield. Gordon Prince is the proud captain of the Hendrick Fan Squad Leaders. His team scored 3rd in team points overall and they now hold the record for the most cup races in a row in one season by one team.
Gordon Prince came into the 2007 Chase ready to pounce after feeling was he robbed in the regular season. However, he didn�t accomplish this goal as he finished 8th with just 1 win. He also finished 8th in the Cup Chase, yet found better success in the Busch Chase as he finished 7th, scoring his only Chase win in the final Busch race of the season
For 2008, he'd get back to his old ways as he'd win 4 Cup races including the Dodge Challenger 500, though finish lowere in points as he'd finish 10th. He also go on to win 6 Nationwide races including the Camping World 300 & Sharpie-Mini 300, and 3 Truck races including the Kroger 200 on his way to finishing 10th in truck points. But ARCA wouldn't work out as good as he'd only win 1 race at Toledo. Though one of his strongest points of the year would be the newly added East Series as he'd win a series high 3 races with Greensville, Iowa, and Nashville on his way to finishing 7th in points. Also, he left his mark in the newly added West Series as he won 2 races with those being Texas and Iowa. He also showed his strength in the USAR Southern Series as he won the Greased Lightning 250.
In the 2008 Chase, Gordon Prince did pretty well, finishing 3rd in Cup with 2 wins, 77 points behind 1st, and 4th in East, 49 points behind 1st. Though blew it in the Nationwide Chase as he finished last.
