This round’s results were really close, as it was a couple votes that separated each of the winners from each other. This round you’ll see some new winners and we congratulate them.

ASHLEY'S AUTHOR AWARDS

Story: Pain & Worry
Pain & Worry is the sequel to The Mysterious Letter, in which it’s about Kasey’s new plan of attack after getting off innocent.

Series: Ashy & Junebug
Ashy & Junebug is a series about a family and their journey through different challenges that come about in each step of their life. A series full of love and mystery; a definite hit with everybody. This category ended in a tie with Lil Tigre, and it was decided by the author that the winner should be this series. This is also the second author award in a row for this series, and it was the recipient of the 2008 Winter Best Series Award.
I love this series for it's combination of mystery and love. That's basically what makes it so good as Ashley has taken us on a helluva journey with it - Truex Prince

Poem: A Night of Tears
A Night of Tears is a poem written upon the eyes of somebody’s feelings after a confession hour.
I really like this poem for it's style. The style that Ashley chose to write it in really fits what she's trying to say. WTG Ash! - Lil Tigre

Article: Stiffy & Junebug - Reunited and Stronger Than Ever
Stiffy & Junebug - Reunited and Stronger Than Ever is about the connection between Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his crew chief/cousin Tony Eury Jr. and their journey to where they are now. This article won over everybody, almost getting a perfect score in this category.
Depth is important when it comes to articles and these ones are full of depth, as far as it's context is concerned. Love Connection: Dale & Ashley from Ashy & Junebug
Ashy & Junebug is the tale of two lovers and their journey through life and their different struggles, whether they're between themselves or their children. This'll be the fifth author award in a row for this pairing with this series. It was also the 2007 Summer best love connection and 2007 Winter best series overall winner. The voting this year, though, was tough as it tied with Ingrid & Jeff from A Season of Mystery and Tony & Delana from Double Love
It's got a good storyline, as for the mystery content, and that really showcases the love content. WTG Ashley! - CM Princess

M/M Slash: Dale Jr. & Jimmie from Idiot & Junebug
Idiot & Junebug is a fictional series about Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt Jr. It is full of mysteries and strong love between two, giving it the win. This is the second m/m slash in a row for this combination from this series, and it was the 2008 Winter Award winner of this award.

Evil Character: Chandra from A Season of Mystery
A Season of Mystery is a series all about taking the 2007 racing season and putting it in an alternate universe with a major twist. In parts it’ll hold some weird connections to the 2001 race season, while in others it’s just pure mysterious.
Her actions make her really interesting as we watch her approach to her attack. - Truex Prince

Sex Scene: Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. from Your B-day Surprise from Till Death Do Us Part - 2006 Lovers
Your B-Day Surprise is a story about how Jeff gives Dale a big surprise for his birthday, in a sexual way, following their fun at Talladega. This series, as a whole, was the winner of the author series award in the 2007 Winter Awards.

KRISTINA'S AUTHOR AWARDS

Series: A Girl’s Life
A Girl’s Life is a look at Kristina’s life through a mix of fictional events, whether they be death or true love.
This series is really good top to bottem, with it's love and mystery. WTG Kristina! I am proud of this series, maybe as much as Chocolate Lovers! - CM

Song: Shed A Tear
Shed A Tear is a song that deals with making sure you shed your emotions instead of holding them in and letting them build up. This song won this award, 1 vote over My Little Teddy Bear.
Shed a Tear as it is an amazing song. I really like it for how Kristina wrote and what she was trying to say within it. It's a song that many people can relate to when they're going through pain. - Gordon Prince

Best Series: Hendrick Motorsports
This series is about an inside look at a big NASCAR team, in the author’s own weird mysterious universe. The girls won the best evil character author award with this series and their character Casey Mears in the 2007 Winter Awards.
Every step of the way, every story, seems to have that good mysterious feel to it. It really makes you curious as you're reading, curious of what'll happen next. - 5fan4ever

This series is about an inside look at a big NASCAR team, in the author’s own weird mysterious universe. This is second author award with this character as the girls won it previously in the 2007 Winter Awards.
He is purely the more evil character, due to his actions. They were more up front, and attack worthy. WTG ladies! You deserve to win this award! - Candy38

LAYA’S AUTHOR AWARD

Best Poem: A Dreamer’s Persuit
An overall description of this poem is hard to really describe, but we will state that it was very well written and definitely a good read.

SECTION AWARDS

Every year at Ashley's Palace, there is always an interesting story that takes the readers by storm. Sometimes it can be due to the love content, or due to the mysterious feel. Well, Ashley posted a story that‘ll be loved for a long time. It contains one of the best mysteries ever, as for the sequel to the story that went before. As Lil TIgre says, “This is a really strong story for how it's written, as far as the emotions. Second, you must watch how much you push the boundaries anyhow, due to the world of what some call "awkward" you're entering. An Evil Character who succeeds is someone who extends to evil at all costs, and at different angles. This character must know his plan and follow it through without letting anyone stand in their way. This critia follows the award winner as he went out on the two he sought revenge on without holding back anything. When he noticed one plan failed, he tried another; he wasn’t going to stop till someone forced him too. As Captain said, “He is truly the worst of the bunch! BEST WRITTEN PIECE AWARD

The Best Written Piece is a piece that incorporates all the elements of a good piece, whether it’s emotion or a storyline. It was close between all the pieces but only one could win but this poem stood out above the rest. It incorporates all the good elements of poem writing and as Jr Prince states, “I really like this poem, Cherie, for how you wrote it. It's the perfect style for this type of poem”
