watashiwaatorantisutoiuookiimachinii,tekimashita. "I went to (and returned from) a large city called Atlantis." ookii is "large", machi is "city".
sashimitoiuoishiitabemonootabemashita. "I ate some tasty food called sashimi."
The noun phrase A toiu B means "a B called A", and is used for unusual or unfamiliar names of people, places and things.
In principle, the A toiu B can also refer to contents of communications, but the resulting construction ends up so convoluted that it's better not to try it.
