1.Cooperative Security in Southeast Asia

History

The Association of South East Asian Nations ( ASEAN ) was established on August 8, 1967, due to the stability in the region of Southeast Asia. Disputes between countries in the region and the infiltration of communism. The ASEAN Community 2015 is a community of opportunities under three community pillars: PoliticalSecurity Community, Economic Community, and Socio-Cultural Community. Its launch in 2015 is a historic milestone and a culmination of ASEAN’s resilience and dynamism throughout a journey of nearly half a century, and signals to the world how far and how well the ASEAN Member States have achieved in coming together as one community.
....Since the inception of ASEAN, the evolving international order has presented ASEAN with many new challenges. These include emerging infectious diseases, terrorism, drug trafficking, human trafficking, environmental issues, disasters as well as significant transformations in the geo-political landscape of the Asia-Pacific.

At present, ASEAN countries try to promote cooperation in the Security . Strengthening the local level. And the level of security cooperation between the countries. This will affect the stability-oriented development cooperation strengthened. And cooperation in the framework of cooperation on other issues further.
