[00a] FEWEST SPOILERS PAGE

This should be the section of the guide with the least amount of spoilers of any guide, but to me it also is the least informative, unfortunately. I cannot give you a complete guide here, as that would contain spoilers, but I can give you several pieces of advice to help you on your way. If you want a complete walk-through, continue to the next section of my site.

The chapters can be played in any order, and you may skip Thomas without problems. However, I suggest playing Thomas to get the entire story line and to work with his characters before you get to the pivotal chapters (four and five).

In order to get the best story line with the least amount of spoilers or missed bonus scenes, play them in this order:

Hugo 1
Chris 1
Geddoe 1
Chris 2
Thomas 1
Hugo 2
Geddoe 2
Hugo 3
Thomas 2
Geddoe 3
Chris 3
Chapter 4
Koruko's Chapter
(during Chapter 4)
Chapter 5
Bonus Chapter

Again, this is not necessary, but it is what I personally advise.

As soon as Budehuc Castle opens up for each hero, get there as quickly as possible, avoiding continuing on your own story path until you do. This will enable that Hero to start recruiting characters, which cannot be done unless the Hero visits Budehuc Castle, as there will be nowhere to send the recruits. This does not require you to play Thomas before someone else. (Sorry for the spoiler there).

Once you have visited Budehuc Castle, recruit Kidd in Duck Village as soon as possible. My suggestion (if you play the chapters in my order) is either with Hugo, if you don't care who recruits whom, or with Thomas. Those will be the quickest ones to recruit him (sorry about this spoiler as well), and then you may start using his services. One of the services is to tell you who to recruit and how. Thus, you avoid glancing through walk throughs and getting spoilers simply to find out who you are missing.

Advance your skills, as stats aren't as important. Advance your levels, as some of the fights you encounter and cannot run from will be very difficult without good levels or skills. Sharpen your weapons constantly. If you need money, play the lottery. Save before checking your lottery tickets, so you can reset the game without losing anything if you don't get the prize you want. The lottery takes between twenty minutes to an hour to post the prizes, and you don't want to lose the skills, levels, etc. you've gained while waiting for it to reveal prizes. When you reset, your ticket numbers stay the same, but the lottery prize numbers will change. Eventually, your numbers will come up for prizes.

If all else fails, and you're not sure where to go to advance your story (and don't mind if your story advances), start talking to any character who looks like he or she is not a "regular Joe Schmoe". One of them will eventually give you a clue or will send you on your proper path. If the place you are in does not help, move from place to place on the World Map, talking to "Specials" until you finally do find someone to advise you. Another good way to go is to have Thomas approach the main steps by Budehuc Castle's Inn or inside Budehuc Castle, Chris talk to Salome in the Brass Castle Knight's Tea Room, Hugo try to walk into any town available, or Geddoe go to the newest place which has opened up for him. I apologize if this, too, is a spoiler, but it should be the least amount of spoilers you'll receive of any walk through.

Good luck and have fun. If you have troubles and don't mind a few spoilers, go ahead and look at my walk throughs, but avoid my other sections unless you want heavy-spoilers.
