About 20 years ago after teaching high school English for five years and having two beautiful baby boys I took my first art course.  Drawing 101, and I was hooked.  Nearly 100 credits later I was certified to teach art and welding furniture out of reebar.  I still have the welding tanks.  You're probably wondering where all the reebar pictures are.  Well, there aren't any because I am so wrapped up in weaving colors into tapestry that I just don't have time to weld.  The gourds and the woods art are hobbies that relate to weaving as fiber related crafts and some day I'll probably put it all together in one giant basket.  But for now I consider myself a weaver first .  I hope you enjoy browsing through some of my work; my son has been able to put it all in cyberspace.
