The Very first sculpture I ever made was a small silly castle with a welcome mat and a bird bath and a little obelisk with the words 'home sweet home' graven on it right beside the front gate..I was 20 years old  and going to school at the University of California at Davis for a degree in Medieval studies (which turned out to be a history degree after all)..

That castle looked a bit like this one..I still have it and several others and at some later date you may run into photos of them around here somewhere.

I briefly made it through a rough spell in College by selling ceramic castles that I'd hand sculpted at the Faire Oaks Renaissance Faire...The problem of course was that people always wanted to buy the ones I most wanted to keep...

(If you don't know what to do next, try clicking on the gate... or the moon, or the cave , or the beach. They all show different things. If clicking on what you see when you get there doesnt do anything.. then of course its time for the 'back' button)
