Thom was an original organizing founder of Bullet Space, an artist collective on the Lower East Side (1988–1991). Currently, he maintains an ongoing (since 1988) environmental-survival mechanism entitled Uncle Thom's Cotton Patch. Mr. Corn is also recognized as an authority on the history of New York.
