Recent Portraits from photos and life
There are not many opportunities to practice painting and drawing live portraits.
About once a month there is the chance to paint a portrait from a live model, usually about a 2 hour pose,
and sometimes a shorter pose in our figure drawing group sessions
From April 05 to April 06 about 600 people have sat for ten minute pencil portrait sketches in Windsor Mall on Sundays.
I feel this is very helpful in reaching for the standard I have set myself in painting portraits.
I have also painted a number of portraits from photos that people send me... and the occasional dog.
