1. - Merry
The room is crowded. So crowded that it is a mystery how my eyes can travel across it and find yours. But they do.

There is that familiar feeling when your warm, green eyes turn on me. It’s like my stomach is full of butterflies. My knees go weak, and I have to lean against the wall, or a chair, or table, or anything else that is close at hand. Even Frodo when he happens to be the closest thing. He looks at me knowingly. I think he knows.

You know too. And still you subject me to this torture.

2. - Pippin
Persistence pays off. I know you have been trying to resist me all night, and I know you haven’t been successful. I have felt how your eyes have followed me since the first glance I gave you.

And I can feel it now. I can feel the pure need in your touch, a need sprung from suppressed desire.

You rarely tell me you love me. You are older, I guess that’s it, and have been through too much to give up your heart just yet. Or at least to admit it, those three little words.

But you show me instead.

3. - Merry
Desire. I never fully understood what it was until I found you. Until I realised that yearning you awoke in me, the longing to touch and be touched, the need to be loved and give love.

The desire for you. There isn’t one lonely night when I don’t recollect these moments. Even in an empty bed I can hear you, feel you, smell you, taste you. For you are part of me now.

And here we are, and you are still just the same. The same as the last time, and the time before that; even the very first time.

4. - Pippin
I live for those moments. Those times when I have you this close; when you are part of me and I am part of you. That very moment when you fill me, and you surround me all at the very same time.

And it is at those moments, just before you loose control completely, that you voice the feeling. When you whisper in my ear, “I love you Pip.” And I love you, too.

That is when I dare to open my eyes again, and I look into yours, and we both loose control together.

And then we both cry.

5. – Merry
The feelings are too powerful for me to keep in side. They are too much for you too. We cling onto each other as the tears fall, afraid we might drown.

The room is silent, but warm, and full of love. Our love. We don’t need to speak, we are both thinking the same thing. We have joined together, and we are but one being. United.

And our hopes and dreams are woven together. A future together is what we both want. It will be hard, of course, but not impossible.

Nothing is ever impossible. You have taught me that.

6. – Pippin
I love you so much. That is the conclusion I come to every time as my tears stop.

I never question that love; it‘s just part of me. Has been part of me for so long. But I sometimes wonder how it came to be part of me. Why I suddenly one day started to feel this way, why I started to love you. But it wasn’t so sudden. I have always loved you. Maybe I was born to love you.

Our love has stayed the same all those years. And at the same time, it gets better and better.
