Name: Zivrekan Torratialis Shantrenim
Name Pronunciation: Zihv-reh-khan Tore-ae-she-ah-lihs Shawn-treh-nimh
Referred to: Ziv
Race: Half elf, half immortal
Real Age: 120
Age Appearance: 15
Favorite Food: Shish kebob
Favorite Animal: Owl
Favorite Color: Autumn Red
Favorite Pastime: Solving puzzles, tricks and games
Hobbies: Street performing, riddle contests, violin, puzzles.
Likes: Mysteries, escaping difficult situations, his foster family, especially Avi.
Dislikes: Problems he cannot solve, when anyone insults Avi
Home: With Avi and her father, wherever they travel
Family: There are two groups of people he considers family: one by blood and the other by adoption. His blood family he considers lost - . However, he is still with his foster family - taken in off the street by them at 106 - and loves them dearly. See History.
Love Life: Despite his age, his attitude in this regard is still rather immature - part of this is a result of losing his first family. However, he would do anything for Avi, though this affection rarely shows in his actions.
Strengths: His time alone on the street has earned him some skill as a thief, as well as fair endurance from occasional scuffles and frequent running. His mixed blood and the abilities it grants him makes him especially adept at problem solving - he possesses a heightened understanding of the physical workings of the world, his vision granting him at least a glimpse of the dimensional fabric that holds it together. He possesses a fair deal of charisma as well, a talent he employs to make as much as possible when acting as a busker. He also is attractive, possessing an air of slight mystery that many find intriguing.
Weaknesses: Physically, Ziv is not the strongest - the few fights he has gotten into he has not left in good shape. He has little to no skill in combat.
Senshi/Knight name: Dimenos Knight
Transformation Phrase: Aria, Dimenos Power, Transform! For a moment it seems as if the spell has failed and nothing has happened. He opens his mouth as if to speak the command again, and a bright circle of light opens beneath him, his form falling away with a startled cry as if the ground vanished. The light disappears as he does, and though he's unseen his voice can quietly be heard as if he falls, but draws closer. Finally, the same white ring of light appears right above where he once stood, and he tumbles out laden in the shifting robes and armor described below, standing and taking a second to brush himself off.
Item: A pair of earrings, a keepsake and the last possession he has of his sister - they have no power he is aware of.
Powers: Transient Paradigm: He whispers the words, snapping his cloak up around him. As the material flutters down, he is gone, the cloak, too, seems to slip into nothingness when it touches the ground. In truth, Ziv is slipping through the ambiguous umbra between dimensions, a feat which - essentially - means invisibility. While in this form, he cannot interact with anything in the real world, and every minute saps his energy and threatens his existence - to remain in the umbra too long is to lose one's foundation in reality, and he can potentially become lost forever.
Juxtaposition: A defensive technique, the tip of each hand sizzles cerulean light as his fingers rapidly make a complex magic circle in the air in front of him, the air around the shape warping and bending. The circle expands to about a 4 foot radius, and any object that enters will reappear - no momentum lost though the direction may be changed - at any location of his choosing. This spell is not one to be used lightly - such a rapid rift in space is an unsteady one at best, and he might either be drawn in himself or bring back something more unpleasant than the attack if not careful.
Planar Threshold: Perhaps the most useful of his abilities, this allows Ziv to make a gateway that links two points through space. The means of doing this is very complex, and depending on distance and his familiarity with the destination, can take anywhere from a couple minutes to a couple days - also, there is inherent danger in forming a dimensional wrinkle in space, and thus the duration of the spell requires his full concentration - anyone walking through when his focus is broken becomes trapped inside, and though a rescue mission is possible, the inhabitants of other planes are seldom accommodating enough to give the necessary time.
