| "Nevarra... please come forth and let us talk. If you wish, once we're done.. you may return to what you have created." Kamui nodded, taking in the answer. "I see...So that is why you search for the Piros as well as us Knights and Senshi." He queried in his thoughtful state of mind. "I hear that you have documentation on this Piros. If you don't mind, I would like to see it/them." The Council members all looked to each other, except for Juline before finally deciding to speak, "We have two documents," Damien stated, "One that speaks of the Piros as an item of life.. while the other declares it as an evil weapon of destruction. Both are quite old, but we shall allow you, Kamui, to see them and judge them yourself." "He means," Juline started, speaking up softly, "If you believe it to be a myth or a factual creation.. something worth searching out," as she finished speaking, Lilia held out two scrolls of ancient paper to Kamui. "Here they are. The one with the broken, black seal of a crumbling planet is the one speaking of the Piros as a weapon of destruction.. while the one with a broken red seal with a tree on it, is calling the Piros an item of life." Nevarra blinked as she suddenly saw Gaia kneeling before her. The girl blinked again as her eyes seemed to clear slightly. Her ice blue eyes quickly became cold as she glared at Gaia, the gaze almost looked evil on the child. "Who are you?" asked Nevarra finally, her voice was very quiet, hardly above a whisper, and lacked any emotion. "How do you know my name?" "Thank you, I hope I will be able to shed at least some more light on this matter." Kamui answered bowing his head slightly and taking the two documents. He held them in his hands and looked questionably at them. Gaia smiled softly, "I'm Gaia, a friend of your mother and her group. And I know your name through one of my many talents," the red elf went silent, sitting on her knees before Nevarra, speaking softly to the girl once more, "I have sought you out, because like many of those following your mother, Juline, you are what is known as a senshi, or a female soldier." The document with the tree for a seal appeared to be almost like a journal entry: "We all witnessed a wondrous miracle today, one that will save Aria from any evil in the present or future. At the idea of any evil overtaking the planet, may it be a corrupted creature to a outside force, the young draconian immortal girl, Kaija, stood before us all, her eyes closed as a glowing orb came forth from her body. When asked what she was doing, she merely glanced to us all and said: "'Please don't be angry... I have made the Piros... and it'll save us all...' Once she was done, and the glowing orb was finally complete, Kaija fell to the ground... her life drained entirely from her small body to give us the gift. We swore to protect it, using it to save Aria in any crisis and let life spew forth from its glow..." The second document, younger than the first, with the crumbling planet for a seal said: "We have acquired the orb, the Piros. For Akuma, we attempted the unleash some of its power, destroying a small town outside of Everi. An amazing weapon, but since our demon queen will soon fall to the Council, we must do something with our weapon. We must hide the Piros in something unexpected.. something we can use when Akuma returns to us. "Several of us have thought of putting it away into one of the caverns of Cavernas... but others have suggested putting the Piros into a new form, one that'll last until it is time for our reign. I believe this will be our new task.." And both documents ended there, proving what little information all the Council members had. All were silent as Kamui read, not wishing to interrupt his quest for knowledge, no matter how small it was. Firian came up quickly behind Akana, hoping to surprise her. As he came in closer he suddenly stopped. Standing there he raises his sword and whispers magma and as the blade begins to glow he directs his sword at Akana and yells force as a powerful red beam is released from the baldes tip. "That should at least get her to focus on me instead of Tidan." He said as his blade stops glowing. Akana had been getting ready to stand, as the red beam slammed her into the tree once more. Her rage grew, as she stood up, her form shimmering. Growing slowly, she became a 35 ft. long dragon, gem and scales glistening in the light as she let out a devastating roar at the Firian Knight. "I'm not a senshi," said Nevarra coldly as her purple hair fell in front of her face, covering her eyes. The girl almost looked evil, yet, in a way she also looked helpless and younger than 13... "Whether you believe so, or not, little one, you are. You may not want to face it, but you are the senshi of black magic, Sailor Shaden," Gaia explained calmly, not affected by Nevarra as she sat there. "Senshi are saviors that will save this world, correct?" asked Nevarra quietly. "Supposively, yes," Gaia replied, still looking directly at the young girl before her. "Then you have the wrong person. I bring nothing but pain and destruction," said Nevarra coldly. "My father told me so. That's why everything around me is always broken..." "Ah, yes, your father who was twisted by your uncle's views. And you would believe him, unfortunately," Gaia said aloud, more to herself then Nevarra, "When your mother speaks of you, she seems happy enough. Not pained." The girl stood quickly and walked over to the window. "If you don't believe me, look around. I destroy everything around me without even having to think about it," said Nevarra coldly. The room was still a complete mess with broken things scattered everywhere. "That's merely because you don't have any understanding of your powers. It takes time to do that, but eventually it comes," Gaia stated, her eyes following Nevarra. She twisted to watch her, her knees together and to the side, as she now sat on the floor. Black magic has no use except for causing pain to others," said Nevarra. "And what about your mother, hmm? She's helped others her entire life, but only possesses black magic," Gaia stated, cocking an eyebrow in the direction of the girl. "Father said it was because she was weak and could do nothing else," said Nevarra coldly. "Power-wise, she is weak," Gaia stated with a chuckle, "But in her haert and mind, she is much stronger than most of the inhabitants of Aria." "The strong rule over the weak, that's what my father taught me," said Nevarra. "Emotions aren't worth anything." Gaia burst into laughter, hysterical laughter, at the girl's words. Nevarra ignored Gaia's laughing as she stared out the window. "You really are gullible," Gaia said with a cold edge to her voice, "Your father is right, but he's weak. As is the rest of Aria, whether they know it." "Then why not destroy it all?" "Because with help, they can become strong," Gaia said softly, "With understanding and some cleansing.. definitely some redemption... they can all live together." asked Nevarra with a soft giggle. "They can't," said Nevarra. "Something will always think it's more powerful and try to take over the weak. It's a never ending struggle." "True, but they'll always lose. Order eventually takes out disorder. Peace eventually overrules chaos," Gaia explained. "But chaos never ends, so who really wins?" asked Nevarra quietly. |
