Chapter 3: "Mother and Daughter"
----------------------------------------
Juline sat on her horse in silence, the group composed of herself, the senshi, knights, any of their family they wished to bring with them, and Gaia.. who was following in the trees. They were headed to Sharnis on Gaia's instruction, but she hadn't broken the news to her group yet. Perhaps she should..
"We're heading into Sharnis today.. so those who don't wish to enter can stay outside of the city until everyone gets back," she knew several of the new group disliked the Council.
Yasmine shrugged, "No big deal for me, as long as Kiley goes down for what he's done," she commented, walking on the ground beside Juline's horse.
Lantis was quiet for a moment on his horse, "I'll be staying outside of the city."

Akana traveled on the road into Sharnis with Pansha, Lisia, and Dandria, "Pansha.. do you think we'll end up with more trouble than last time? 'Cause Kiley said to bring Lisia and Dandria.. and even though I don't dislike traveling together, I do dislike losing.."

Phulan frowned at the group, she didn't feel like going into Sharnis, she had nothing against the Council, but it had very little do with her. "I'll be staying out."
Ruman looked to Phulan and then to the others and grinned. "I have nothing against the Council, so I shall follow as well."

Pansha gave a snort as she continued with the other women, though she doesn't look at anything but the road she addresses Akana "I don't like losing as well...their numbers at the time were not that many...and you almost had that...girl. However...if Kiley wants to have more people travel together...I think it's only logical to think that there will be more trouble..."
Dandria smirked at the conversation. "It shouldn't be that hard to beat a few rats." Looking at Akana and Pansha. "I just wish I could have stayed with his lordship...at least I can do some shopping and sampling." She smiled to herself.
"By my calculations, our subjects will probably head to the nearest town Sharnis." Lisia spoke up, not addressing any one of the group in particular.

Kamui was walking with the rest of the senshi and knights. "I will follow your lead Juline."
"As will I. I want to find that Kiley as soon as possible." Celes answered.
Iviana dismounted her horse, Kai with her. "Staying." She whispered, pulling her supplies from her horse, taking Kai's hand, and walking her and her horse back towards a tree.

Rinada sighed, sitting indian-styled atop of a tall building. She watched the hustle and bustle of the street below her, not really in the mood for doing anything at the moment.

"Lilia, when is mother coming home?" asked Nevarra in a quiet, emotionless voice. Nevarra was dressed in a fancy black dress that had dark purple details on it. The girl's purple hair was hanging straight around her face.
The black dress made her look extremely pale, almost deathly pale. Nevarra stared at Lilia with ice blue eyes, almost as if she was looking through her. Nevarra had been sitting on a chair the entire day, never once moving. This was the first time she spoke up.
"She said she'd be here later on in the afternoon, but before evening.." Lilia replied, nearly forgetting her words after Juline's daughter finally spoke up. She remained calm, though, used to Nevarra acting a bit weird.
Nevarra folded her hands on her lap as the girl's ice blue eyes seemed to grow slightly glassy as she went back into her dream world. "When's daddy coming home?" asked Nevarra, the girl sounded much younger suddenly. The young girl stared at a wall in front of her, drawing her knees up to her chest as she hugged herself slightly.
Lilia was silent for a moment, "Nevarra.. you know your father's been gone for some time.." She spoke softly, somewhat wishing Juline was home.
"When's daddy coming home?" repeated the young girl, there was no emotion in her voice.
"Nevarra.. you know I can't answer that," Lilia said, looking out a window to the people of Sharnis, watching for Juline.
"Why not?" asked Nevarra quietly, her voice still emotionless.
"Because I don't know if he will ever return or not," Lilia replied softly, looking to the young girl.
"Why won't he return?" asked Nevarra, "Doesn't he love me?" Nevarra continued to stare at the wall, her eyes seemingly unfocused.
"He loves you, dearly.. but he and your mother had their differences.." Lilia replied, still watching Juline's daughter.
"If he loves me, why did he leave me?" asked the young girl. "Why doesn't he visit me?"
"He left because your mother asked him to.. and why he doesn't visit.. I don't rightly know," Lilia explained, turning to face Nevarra.
"You lie," said Nevarra. "You know more than you are telling me." The young girl continued to stare at the wall, her voice still showing no emotion. A vase near Lilia crashed to the ground suddenly.
Lilia looked to the vase, "I'm not lying, Nevarra. When your father left, I didn't know the terms between him and your mother. You'd have to ask her when she gets home."
"But you know what's going on right now," said Nevarra as another vase crashed to the ground.
"No, I don't," Lilia said sternly, trying to ignore the vase crashing.
Nevarra fell silent again as yet another vase crashed to the floor.
"Calm down, Nevarra, your mother would be upset if she saw this mess.." Lilia said calmly.
A chair fell over, breaking as it hit the ground, in response.
Lilia sighed, looking back out the window, deciding it was best to let the young girl do as she wished.
Things in the room began to fall apart or crash to the ground, getting dangerously close to Nevarra and Lilia. A loud crack was heard as the table was ripped apart, pieces of wood flying around the room. One piece slashed Nevarra's arm, cutting her dress and skin, leaving a trail of blood.
"Stop it, Nevarra," Lilia said in scolding tone, not even turning to look at the young girl.
Nevarra didn't respond as more things began to snap apart, the girl was staring at the wall, her eyes unfocused and she didn't seem to be aware of the world at all. More and more fragments of wood and pottery were flying through the air. The beautiful curtains on the windows ripped apart suddenly, falling to the floor. More and more cuts began to appear on Nevarra's body as the fragments flying through the air cut her.
Turning, Lilia's eyes focused on Nevarra, deciding to take a harsh step to stopping the girl, "If Juline was here, she'd be ashamed of your behavior."
Nevarra didn't respond, the girl was still staring at the wall as more things broke and fragments flew through the air.
"And you're acting like.." Lilia stopped, not planning to mention Akuma or Kiley. If Juline had mentioned them to her or not was unknown to the Council member, and it was best she didn't say anything.
"Like who?" asked Nevarra as the fragments in the air fell to the ground.
"Has your mother ever mentioned anyone else in your family..? Such as your grandparents..?" Lilia asked quietly, grabbing an unbroken chair and sitting down in it next to Nevarra.
