Snow Falls
12.21.04

Snow falls like a thousand broken pieces
From a glass globe battered by bleeding hands
Against a wall where the pounds are rhythmic like heartbeats
And the tears staining lives are hidden without and within

Snow falls like a thousand memories
Perhaps miscalculated from the start
Oh, it’s not their fault they were born like that
They were born in the dark

So are you blind?
Are you blind to what you’ve done?
Why can’t you see that you’re killing me?
And I can’t move on

Spinning in circles
Watch the snow
Drifting endlessly
Watch the snow
We’ll never know
The answer to this
But we’ll watch the snow

Snow falls like a thousand voices
Shouting out in pain and fear
But no one will hear them, they’ll just move on
And life never was fair

Snow falls like a thousand ashes
From fires long put out
But there’s no happiness in the stillness now
There are no words, nothing but doubt

So are you blind?
Are you blind to what you’ve done?
Why can’t you see that you’re killing me?
And I can’t move on

Spinning, spinning
Wondering why
We cannot seem to close our eyes
Pounding and pounding
The heartbeats resounding
And all you do is cry

Yes, all you do is cry
I only wonder why...

So am I blind?
To everything you’ve ever done
I cannot see you, I cannot be near you
But I can’t move on

<--- fall into my patterened tears... [return]
<---<--- catch me as i fall? [CS]
