Insanity's Theft
11.15.04

A thousand words I could write
For her, into the night
But a thousand lies more I could tell
Of her, before she fell

How can you tell me-
What I cannot dream?
This is my fragile earth
You’d do best to sit and learn

A thousand lives I have lived
For you, nothing is my gift
But a thousand lies, each night are bred
And in the dark, they are fed

I am starving
But you cannot save me
This is my fragile dream
You should know, I’m not what I seem

Ripping me apart
At the seams
This is my heart
Gone

For her, into the night...

These are my snow-cried tears
These are the roots of your fear
But we can’t live from the food of nightmares
And when I wake you won’t be there

How can you tell me-
What I cannot dream?
This is my fragile day
But you’ll smile as the winter fades away...

Who am I?
Nothing’s left...
The result of insanity’s theft.

<--- fall into my patterened tears... [return]
<---<--- catch me as i fall? [CS]
