Poison
10.07.04
There is poison in her chemistry
Betrayal in her veins
She watches behind veiled eyes
But her clockwork remains the same
And every day is a set moment
In her wheel of time
Every day is a single moment
Through which she learns to fly
And if someday she’s allowed to leave
This chained prison where she lives
She can fly and fly into the infinity
But a rememedy for her hollow heart
Even the infinite could not give
With each taste of poison
I’ve learned to live
And long for a little more
With each taste of poison
I’ve slowly broken down
To the very core
And I’m addicted to the obsession
Which this poison stirs
And although the fear may lesson
Their resolutions can never feed out a cure
There’s a poison in her chemistry
Betrayal in her veins
I learned to love her once or twice
But in the end, she always flies away.
