If you die, I’ll die without you
Imprisoned forever by invisible walls
I reach out for you, but you’re so far gone
Drifting in the endlessness that I know you want
You deserve so much more, so much better than what you believe
Countless heartbeats spill their blood at your expense
If only you could open your eyes, you’d see how much...
I ache, because somehow it’s pointless
Breathing in and breathing out
If I close my eyes and drown inside
Opening them is no less pain as long as you aren’t there
Because I’m dead inside, if you aren’t there
Love is nothing more than whispers
Thrown into the night
I know deep inside you love me
Even if it’s just a lie
And you can hear me
I feel it in your breath
You’re cold, but life flows through you
Through me, through us
I’ll hold onto you forever, I’ll never let you fall away
Don’t slip from my hold, because love is just a whisper
A passing note, fleeting and wary in the end
Like smoke- seeping into the air surrounding us
The repercussions of wounds that aren’t your fault
Never your fault...

Because through the blinding pain-
