For a long time I’ve been in love
Within someone who isn’t there
I try to give the shadow faces
But they never quite fit

The only tangible moments are within the tears that I cry
When hearts are young and impressionable
You can live, you can laugh
But the heartache- the after-effects of this love
Causes that innocence to never last
