This makes me feel better
These scribbles relax the tormented mind
Some find darkness-
But within, it’s peace I find

I’m letting it out-
Moving on
It’s been said that if you say what you feel
You will begin to heal
And in these words-
It’s truth I’ve found

Remember, I’m still human
Remember, I’m lost but found
Remember, I’m still human
And it’s restoration that I’ve found

This makes my heart feel lighter
A good feeling- I’ve found
And in the lightness I can soar
It’s different than the emptiness once binding me down...

I will not forget my promise
Nor the beauty within these memories I’ve found
Down on my knees- surrenduring
It is truth that I’ve found
