When you close your eyes
Dreaming it all away

It always makes me cry
When I think about those things
Living my life in the shadow of your memory
Because you can’t be here with me, anymore

And when the leaves fall
Dead, but so vibrant
Painting my world with their gold and red
It reminds me of you
And the scent of your smiles
Bottled up and cast into that box
So secretly holding our memories

The way you count up to the moment
That holds everything ever said
Shared between two souls
That were once alone
But now, they only know each other

And when the snow falls
Cloaking everything in silence
I’ll smile because of the light it sheds
Dead, but so beautiful
Like the tears glimmering
On eyes robbed of the color that dances-
Dances in your face, like the ripples on the sweet water...

Dance around me, like nothing matters
Hold my hand as I fall to the rainbow world
That you created while I was blind
