One More Day
You stare in silence-
I know your pain
I’ve memorized its everyway
I watched you behind the walls you built
Knowing you must still feel the love
Even between the shame- the guilt
The world does not accept us
They could not understand us if they tried
I tried to make them listen once-
But they just covered their eyes
So fall towards me slowly now
Understand, I share your pain
We both created this
So I guess we are both to blame
I will not let you fall away
That happened once, but it won’t again
We- together, will make it through one more day
Just one more day to live
