Tomorrow is only one heartbeat away
One heartbeat from the past
They told me yesterday
That this could never last

Tracing constellations
With hands blood-stained and true
Nothing to divide me
Nothing but you

If you watch those trailing life’s long lines
By the corner of their grip
You shall see that deep inside
There is another dip

Rain slowly falters
On the shore-bent moores
What once was so much longer
Dares to breathe no more

My soul fills with longing
For this land I have never seen
Watching and awaiting
For one more life to read

When time awakens from its slumber
And all but the skies be pulled under
Hold on tight to what was passed
For that which was rejected will surely last

Dream with me now
In the whispering of the crystal eaves
Dancing on the doorway
Of those that we shall never please

And if you hear my voice
In the reckonening of the hope
Let go of all danger
Begin with the remorse

Trace backwards
From what you are now
To what you once were
And you shall see the distortions
Of what you called your world

Spirits meld together
Join the watchguards in the sky
Drown in your dreams
As they watch for I

And if tomorrow is today
In some other realm
Hold on now to what once lived
And what shall never breathe again

<--- fall into my patterened tears... [return]
<---<--- catch me as i fall? [AA]
