The Atlantean Chapter
- One
I call upon what is within to surface
Like the teardrops of the ancient turquoise in a mist of swirling wonder
Understood only by the few who watch the angel rise and surface
To the legendary last rays of the sun
For the maidens of the sea are lost and scattered
Few there be with the ocean silver twisted blood
To return with the tide of that final moon
- Two
Sides of silver
Meshed with sea’s brilliant blue I hear the beckoning voice of the angel
Drawing nearer to the edge of a deepening desperation
And so his beauty flashes
The wolf of the night
Silver in being
With the blood of the sea maidens
Overflowing his veins
His loyalties be but mixed
Hopeful confessions and dreams pressed for their hope of prosperity
But he not wishes nor wants
His reasoning goes unknowst to the mortal soul
Until he may walk along the tops of waves
With his loved one
Like that of long ago
- Three
The moon is deep in the high horizon
As the angel dances along the signs
Of those left of a Second Purity
Dancing, Dreaming, no longer following
And they open up their minds
‘Til their lives begin to fall
And shatter in the mines
That were never mined at all
All is mixed with none
And switched within the blue
Shattering all that was never really true
Silver falls among the star-filled sea
Then collects and falters
Return to the Hand which created you
And the land of which shunned you
Until you wandered among faceless faces
In a Shadow World of Rainbows Grey
- Four
Silver ocean falters
Flickers ‘til the water flame shines out
Full of tumbled arrangings
Mixed with blood and turmoil
Of the hearbeat of the One who once roamed
The air ranges with its sea-tears
Flooding down the already flooded
Blood-rain threatens the Blackness
That took the life of the One Before
How be never known
Except in the twisted hearts of those stained with the Tempest’s last shout
Victory is won
Yet not for those who dwell in the sea-halls so long ago
Flowing with the crystal shimmer
Of the Flowered Moon
Rise again the One shall not!
For that beam destroyed Him and all those protected by His call
Still the soft pound flows through my ears
His sweet tears sting at my pain-filled eyes
His heartbeat breaks
And the silver-blood rushes through my own
Already destroyed by this Dark-Purity
This be the Death of the One Loved
His cry became the Dark-Single
Flowing throughout all the sea
And rushing in
Carried silently in blood-sheded tears
Of me
- Five
Rain dips into the jade halls
Sparkling with the lights of the Lavender
Washing clean blood-stained walls
Of war upon defiled hands
Splashing their darkness like hunters of the sea
Flames only hold to
For one breath that drowns the beholder
And the sky drips its twilit-self
Into an ocean of pain
Ravaged by those demented among the gardens of Silver and Blue Melted into one
They press down on the upward falling
Of the waves mixed with the final heartbeats of the memory-
Of what once flooded with light
That which now lays empty
Turmoil dancing on the edge of a destruction
Mysterious but the birth of a new generation
Swirling in hope of those lost
And only the lonely souls
That wander aimlessly
Feel its opression
This be the end of a thousand years
More they may even be
Suffered through the blood of the Purity
Until the Legacy opens
Upon the defeat
Of the sweet innocence singing
Through the veins of the ocean
Because tomorrow brings no hope
With the final of the Dreamer’s angel
Falling and drowning
In what once gave life
Until her watery grave grows deep
And the Silence is finally heard
The Evening of the Early
Connects with the Oceanic Dream
Tears of the earth shudder with their depth of pain
Meeting with the Tempest of the sea
Bringing the end to those who danced among the Shadows of the Deep
Then the cove of the Storm will find its Last Light
And be settled among the jagged rocks
Crossing and swirling together
‘Til her help be mended by the Silver Healer
And the Heart of the Ocean crushes itself
Into a deep darkness that floods and overflows the bloodiness staining
All that reached with faltering hands
Of the last breath
Until those came and began for first
The days of the Ocean’s Legacy
<--- fall into my patterened tears... [return]
<---<--- catch me as i fall? [AA]
