Friend's Encounter
Submitted By Debbie Crockett
My friend works at the same place that I used to. She
was working midnight shift also. She said that she went
to the bathroom to lay down for a few minutes while she
was on her break. There were benches set up in the
bathroom where women could sit down and talk or lay
down to rest for a few minutes and to get ready for work.
Well anyway, she said that she had been laying there for
a few minutes in sort of a dreamlike state. You know
where you know everything is going on around you but
you can't move. Then she said that she had heard the
bathroom door open, which is very heavy and makes all
kinds of racket when opening and shuting. She then said
that she had heard footsteps walking into the bathroom
towards the other side where she was laying. Let me
remind you that the time was about 3:00 in the morning.
Well she thought that the footsteps were that of another
co-worker that usually comes in early on Friday's. She
called out her name thinking that it was her. She heard
no answer. She called her name out a second time. Again
no answer. She just thought that the co-worker hadn't
heard her so she layed her head back down on her arm.
What happened to her next scared her to death. She said
with her laying there with her eyes shut she felt
someone touch her shoulder and shake her. She jumped
up off of the bench and checked the whole bathroom out
to see if anyone was there. THERE WAS NO ONE, I MEAN
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IN THE BATHROOM WITH HER!!!!! She
just grabbed her stuff and ran out of the bathroom and
she told me herself that she would never go take a short
nap in the bathroom or anywhere in the whole place
again for as long as she lived because she knew that
someone was in there with her because she felt them.
