Summary: This sequel deals with issues the six were left with
right after my other story ended. What 'other' symptoms might Liz
develop carrying Max's child? What happens when Kyle and Maria
commiserate about their parents' dating? What happens if Kyle
finds out about the alien trio? And, what about the other alien
pods from the same crash as the trio? Can there be more alien
shape shifters out there?
Author's note: If you haven't read my previous story, "Us
Six Against the World", it is recommended before reading
this one. This story begins the day after my other story ended.
It's gonna be another LONG one. ;-)
I Knew I Loved You
By Savage Garden
"There's just no rhyme or reason
Only this sense of completion
And I your eyes
I see the missing pieces
I'm searching for
I think I've found my best friend
I know that it might sound more than a little crazy
But I believe

Sense of Completion (Part 9)
Liz laughed realizing they hadn't even greeted each other yet
today. "Good morning, Max," Liz whispered against Max's
hot, wet lips.
Max brushed his lips against hers in return and then teased her
mouth open and slid his tongue into her waiting sweet heat. He
loved the flavor of Liz, chocolate and Tabasco sauce.
Liz pulled him closer and ran her hands up under his shirt so she
could touch his smooth, muscular back. She loved touching Max.
Everywhere and all the time. She couldn't get enough of him. Liz
loved the fullness when Max was a part of her. She didn't know
when she ended and he began she just felt complete. She just held
on as Max loved her.
When Max loving Liz, and collapsed against her, burying his
head in her neck, Liz soothed his wet hair away from his face,
kissed his forehead and whispered her love.
When Max was finally able to breathe normally again, and looked
up at her with an amazed smile, Liz laughed lightly. "Well,
if I wasn't already carrying your baby, I would be after
that," she teased and laughed harder when Max actually
turned red. Liz wrapped her arms around Max harder and hugged him
closer. God how she loved him!
"I don't know why this keeps getting locked! When people are
done, they should unlock it!" they heard the janitor say, as
the key rattled in the lock.
Max quickly pushed Liz's skirt down, and turned with his back to
the door as he quickly adjusted his own clothing.
The door opened as Max was zipping up, and he heard Liz gasp. Max
turned back around and saw that it was the janitor and the
principal, and swore softly.
Liz and Max sat in the outer office of the principal's office
as the principal talked to their parents in his office. Liz
shifted on the seat, then froze and couldn't help but giggle.
Max looked at her like she was crazy to find anything funny right
now, but Liz whispered in his ear, and Max turned red and then
couldn't help but chuckle, too. He put his hand in his pocket and
sure enough, her panties were still there.
Liz was blushing, and laughing, and tried to stop both as the
door to the principal's office opened and Liz's dad, Max's mom
and the principal came into the outer room.
"Liz, honey, is this true?" her dad looked surprised
and a little shocked. Not his baby girl!
Liz looked from her dad to Max's mom and saw a little bit of a
warming in Max's mom's eyes. Diane and Liz had gotten closer
while Max had been on the run, and Diane seemed to have accepted
a while ago that Max loved this girl and that this was something
special between them. For Max had never given her any reason to
have to come to school for any reason before, especially for
this! She knew that Max was drawn to Liz and that she was drawn
to him as well. She sighed, knowing she was still going to have
to talk to Max about being careful.
"Dad, is what true? That we were kissing? A lot of people
use the eraser room to sneak a kiss, I'm not a little girl
anymore," Liz said quietly.
"A Kiss?" the principal asked with a raised eyebrow.
Both parents looked from the Principal to their teens.
Max and Liz tried not to blush under the intense scrutiny, but
both of them were red-faced at being caught by the principal.
And Max was equally embarrassed knowing it was Liz's dad he was
confronting. He tried to put himself in Mr. Parker's place and it
wasn't too difficult, knowing he would have a baby of his own
soon, and how he would feel. But Max loved Liz. He wanted to
marry her now, but knew they couldn't. And he wanted to be honest
and tell the world that she was his, and that she was already
carrying his child, but he couldn't do that either. His jaw
tightened as he held back all he wanted to declare.
"Liz, honey, I know you and Max are...taken with each other,
but to be so irresponsible..." Liz's dad was at a loss for
words. He didn't know how to handle this. He had never had any
trouble with his daughter before. She was always such a good,
sweet girl. She was so bright and driven to
accomplish so much.
Then he met Max's eyes and saw that teen's eyes didn't waver,
instead, they met his honestly and straightforwardly. But he
could tell that Max was upset about the whole situation. He
really liked Max, but was still reeling from finding out that his
daughter had been caught making out heavily,
according to the principal, when they'd been found.
"Well, I assure you, Mr. Von, this will not happen again.
Right Liz?" Her dad stressed meeting her eyes pointedly. He
would talk to her later. Then he looked again at Max to get him
to agree as well. And saw the boy nod as well.
Liz nodded. She just wanted to agree to anything to get them away
from this scene.
"Max?" Diane Evans directed towards him. She would need
to talk to him later as well. She loved Liz and was thrilled that
she had made such a difference in her son's life. Max was so much
happier and open and carefree. She knew that Liz was good for
Max, but didn't want to let them think she approved of what they
had been doing.
Max nodded as well. "Yeah," he said taking a deep
breath and sliding his hands in his pockets, only to freeze
again, and then, bite his lip to keep from grinning when he came
in contact with Liz's panties again.
"I knew you two would get in trouble one of these
times!" Isabel rolled her eyes and grinned at Max and Liz.
They were all seated around the picnic table at lunch. Liz was
sitting on Max's lap, despite what had happened earlier. Isabel
and Alex were across from them, and Maria was leaning back
against Michael as he faced her on the bench.
Maria laughed but then sobered. "Honestly, what are you
going to do if your parents tell you two you can't see each
other?"
Max frowned, but Liz shook her head. "It won't happen,"
she said positively.
"Oh? I've seen your mom when she's upset Liz," Maria
reminded her.
"We'll be more careful." Liz just said.
"Oh, you mean Max won't crawl into your window every night
to sleep with you anymore?" Michael teased.
Alex snorted a laugh and Max and Liz tossed first Michael, and
then Alex a frown. Their friends were really having fun at their
expense, Max thought. But he knew that nothing would keep him
from Liz. Even though he couldn't announce it to the world, Liz
was his.
She turned and met his eyes, hers understanding. He knew she had
read his mind just then and that she too wouldn't let anything
come between them.
"What about your symptoms Liz? Have your parents said
anything? Been suspicious at all?" Isabel asked.
Liz shook her head. "I've been pretty much able to keep it
from them. They don't know anything."
"That you know of. I mean we don't know what symptoms you
might have next. Even Jordan didn't know what to expect, as all
pregnancies are different," Michael added.
"Well you better not touch someone who's bleeding,"
Isabel said, tongue in cheek, and then winked.
"Or go without your chocolate Milk," Alex winked.
"Or let them see your increased appetite," Maria teased
with a laugh.
Liz smiled slowly and looked down as she played with Max's
fingers. "Well, it's a good thing we're going to go see
Jordan this weekend," Max said, hugging Liz tighter to him.
They all agreed there. The trio needed to know more about who and
what they were. There was still so much they didn't know.
Tina Owens' eyes glittered with rage as she watched that Parker girl throw herself all over Max. Boy was she desperate or what? she thought.
"I thought you said as soon as you wanted him he'd be
yours? He looks pretty taken by Liz Parker if you ask me,"
another cheerleader said, from next to Tina at their lunch table.
Tina turned red with anger. She looked around at the faces of her
friends and knew she couldn't lose face. "Oh he'll be mine
alright. After all, what has that little brainy mouse got
compared to what I have." Tina smiled confidently. "I
just haven't had a chance to persuade him yet."
She knew how to get what she wanted, and she would do anything to
accomplish it. And right now, her eye was on one tall, handsome,
mysteriously sexy Max Evans. And nothing was going to stop her.
