"What tree?"
"Oh, forget it. It's..."
"Uh, Max, do you know about the whole Maria/Isabel thing that's going on?"
"Yeah, yeah, I heard."
"Well, um, I just sorta promised Maria I would mention it. See um, Isabel kinda makes Maria a little..."
"Nervous?"
"No, no. It's not nervous."
"Becasue she sometimes makes people nervous."
"She just said that she did things."
"Things?"
"Yeah, you know, like, things to her car. So, maybe you could talk to her, so we don't let this whole situation get out of control."
"Right."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"You know, it kinda seemed like you wanted to say something before."
"No." 
"Okay. Bye, Max."
"Max, I'm so sorry. I should have never even
told Maria in the first place."
"Well, you did it because you trusted her, and you needed someone to talk to. It was only natural."
"So why did you tell me?"
"It was only natural."
"What did you mean the other day--about the thing with the tree?"
"Just somebody's advice. Not to get stuck behind it."
"Oh. Well, did you take it? The advice?"
"I think I just did."
