Well, despite my complete lack of modeling ability, I've created a little
something to add to the collective world of Babylon 5 clone models.

Hyperspace is sort of like a red "storm" in space, where ships travel to
far-off stars without all those nasty relativistic effects made up by that
spoil-sport Einstein. I've always loved that effect, and finally decided
to attempt to create the effect myself.

This is a simple model made with a huge-@$$ sphere and a nice little
vortex object. There's also a light, set to flash once at 35 frames. To
add more flashes, or change the timing, just alter the envelope. If you
have any ideas for improvements, let me know.

Special thanks to Mark Kane, who was nice enough to let me rip off great
amounts of his model... :)

INNCLUDED FILES:
Hyperspace.lws - The scene file with the complete hyperspace setup.
Hyperspace.lwo - The main hyperspace object.
Vortex.lwo - Cool HS vortex.
Vortex-morph.lwo - Do I *really* need to explain this?
hyperspace.txt - This text file.
Hyperspace-test.jpg - Sample image of hyperspace.

Thanks to everyone who's contributed to the B5 fan pictures scene, and the
LightWave scene in general. Special thanks to JMS and Warner Bros., for
letting us do things like this! You guys ROCK! Anyone else who deserves
credit, thanks a lot! I know this isn't a great model, at least yet, but
hey, I thought I should give *something* back to the people who've given
me so much!

Have fun!
