In 2005, three Dallas-area brothers were convicted of supporting terrorism
by funnelling money to a high-ranking official in the militant Palestinian group
Hamas. Ghassan and Bayan Elashi and their company were found guilty of all 21
federal counts they faced: conspiracy, money laundering and dealing in property
of a terrorist. Ghassan Elashi was the founder of the Texas chapter of
CAIR.
One would normally think that an organization that has convicted terrorist
supporters among its members and whose leading members have stated a desire to
replace the US Constitution with sharia would be shunned by Western media and

The Role of 'moderate' Muslims in Islamists' Massacres on the West
If 'moderate' Muslims would really reject terrorism (Clarity for the confused -- targeting the unarmed, something like Hamas/Al-Qaeda/Hezbollah/Islamic-Jihad) as strongly, the radicals would not have carried it out... they need the support of mainstream Muslims.
A typical 'moderate' Muslim on 9/11.. "Oh, it is terrible what Islamists militants have done, but, but..." It is that "but" thing that is part of the COVER that they (MUHAMMAD ATTA & CO.) feel comfortable in it's shell.
Though most Muslims might not supporting it actively, but passively, yes they do.
Typical is also those that say, "Oh I condemn but, but I understand...". --- these words are just about enough for radicals to continue their mass-murder.
The first step would be (for instance), for the mainstream Muslim leaders to PROMISE for the youth that strive to be Genocide-Bombers, that they will absolutely NOT be awarded in heaven (sex with 72 "virgins" or other).
Isn't that already the case?
Hardly, it is never so clear, ambiguity is their song.
They really think that they defend any Muslim honor by "rationalizing" the bloodshed as a form of any frustration, typical is also why they use the "Palestine" thing, how they try so hard to portray them as "victims" and to cover the dirty massacres as a "frustrated" youth under (Oh, I am gonna a puke when I use this-their dreadful sick excuse ...) "occupation"...
When in fact they try to wash one crime with another...
Many in GB have woken up (which I knew all along) after the London bombing to find out that these butchers are not the busted-myth of "deprived" poor guys...
Hence, when a Muslim leader wants to "explain" to me "why" there are Homicide Bomber, he is not only not helping Muslim image, he becomes part of the problem, which is the backbone of radicals' crimes, they need so desperately the mainstream Muslims' support or at least their sympathy, like oxygen (not funny) to their death-cult.

The Islamists keep forgetting that the "excuse" called "Palestine", is a crime by it self, not only on innocent Israelis but on their own kids, it is no more secret the animalistic tactics they use over there to use their own kids as weapons and as shields when they fire behind their little shoulders, Remember! behind every 'stone thrower' there is an ADULT (or more) with a machine gun, [unless you are still naive to buy that stupid lie-garbage of the most unfair photo of our time... kid-vs-tank... as if they use tanks against the unarmed...] , and no! you do not have to be a "Zionist" to side with Israel's ( Are the "Palestinians" really the victims??? ) fight for it's survival.

The zeal to build trust and greater understanding, though, has led to carelessness. During the past year, at least two dioceses, Cincinnati and Detroit, have co-hosted events with local chapters of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), an organization with alarming ties to international terrorist groups.
In January of this year, Imam Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR in Michigan, and Msgr. John Zenz, moderator of the Curia of the Archdiocese of Detroit, took turns addressing the topic of religion and violence at an interreligious forum. And twice last year, the Catholic Social Action Office of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati co-sponsored events with the Cincinnati chapter of CAIR.
CAIR has aggressively marketed itself as a "Moslem NAACP" since the terrorist attacks of September 11. Would that it were so. Steven Pomerantz, President Clinton's former chief of counterterrorism, has said "CAIR, its leaders and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups."
An illuminating report from Daniel Pipes, a Middle East scholar and former member of the President's U.S. Institute for Peace, explains why Catholics should be wary of entering into dialogue with CAIR. Let's start with this interesting fact from the report: "At least five of [CAIR's] employees and board members have been arrested, convicted, deported, or otherwise linked to terrorism-related charges and activities."
Ties between CAIR and terrorist organizations are longstanding. The Holy Land Foundation, which the federal government has charged with channeling funds to Hamas, provided CAIR with some of its start-up funding a dozen years ago.
And CAIR's founding personnel were closely linked to the Islamic Association of Palestine (IAP), which was begun by Ibrahim Abu Marzook, a senior Hamas operative. Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR's omnipresent communications director, was once an employee of IAP.

To the Islamists of CAIR: How dare you exploit Americans' tolerance to your fascism?
Each now & then we are hit by another of a CAIR stunt, be it defending the flying Imams that were chanting pro Bin Laden slogans, or catagorizing as "hate" an enraged understandable student in Pace university [regardless if one agrees with his particular expression of: flushing the Quran down the toilet] over Islamists' actions against showing the 'Obsession' movie - that exposes Islamofascism & world Jihad.
The Islamists know us all too well, they know how Christian/Jews in America are so sensitive to human rights, to equality & to freedom, values that they never see in their dark Arab Muslim world.
If you follow CAIR's actions, you see the pattern of playing on Americans' kindness, so typically of Islamists as they are, their tactics are simple but cruel, make Americans feel bad so they will have to go that extra mile towards Muslims, take the 'flying Imams' case for example, don't they just love using the assumption of "innocent until proven guilty" on the expense of our vital security when it's a matter of life and death?
Well, of course this legal term still holds value in court, but if it really comes down to survival should anyone blink an eye when one hears "devout" Muslims praising Al Qaeda? I mean, how "innocent" can such "holy" imams be?
Their immediate goal: empower all Muslims including radicals!
Their long term goal, well, if you know what Caliphate, global domination & Islamization means, then you have the answer.
Let alone the enormous hypocrisy that these supporters of champions in hatred of non Muslims [like the MSA & pro-genocide fascist Hamas] are the ones that try to define the Pace university incident as a 'hate crime'.
Still, we can never figure out any basis on which a "moderate" status has been mistakenly attached to them by some, after all, their support for radical Jihadism like terror organizations such as: Hamas is all documented.
