As recent graduate from Universiti Teknologi Mara Malaysia, with a diploma in Information Management, I have undertaken several internships within library organisations such as The Public Library of Selangor and The Public Library of Segamat. These placements have enabled me to develop not only the librarianship experience, but also a valuable and transferable skill set in this sector.
During placement with The Public Library of Segamat, I worked in the media and IT development division contributing to projects such as developing the library website, and managed in developing a better looking library with the cooperation from the library organization and Segamat District Council , liaised with various divisions and participated in group project meetings. Utilising excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external staff.
Looking to secure a position in IT Department in library organisation, where I can bring immediate and strategic value and develop current skillset further.
