| Fresher's week starts next Monday and we're expecting to start training again very soon. We've also got our table booked for the fresher's fair on Tuesday 27th of September. Feel free to come along and have a chat. We'll start traing in the new hall on Fridays as soon as it's open which shouldnt be long now. |

| We are now approaching our
second year as a club. Last year was a success, resulting in receiving 'best
organised club' award from the SU and two members getting their university
colours at the sports awards night.
In this coming year we are expecting loads of new members and for current members to achieve fantastic grading results as in the last year when, even due to lack of mats, three people graded and all achieved at least 1 stripe on their belts. The committee has changed due to Eamonn leaving and Emma stepping down. Gemma Cushing has taken over as the new chair person, Alex Bundock as Secretary and Viki Gravells continuing as treasurer. We are hoping to hold at least one social event this semester if anyone has any ideas or just wants to help please speak to someone on the committee.
