Recap time. 

Last Thursday:

 Shaking in my shoes because STPM results were coming out the next day.

Last Friday:

Results day. Things were looking good. Results were really good. Couldn't believe them at first, but when it started to sink in, I became ecstatic. Smiled like an idiot whole day while greeting people and when the reporters were taking photos. :D Been getting a lot of response to my results, ranging from: "Why am I not surprised. Congrats!" to "Holy Jaws!" to "Oh my god! Congrats!"

Friday night, went out with my best friend for Italian food and a drink at a cafe where they had a live band and a tropical rainforest setting. Sweet.

Last Saturday:

Started receiving calls from relatives, some to congratulate me and some to tell me what to do. Loved and loathed my photos in the local newspapers. Went out with friends that night for a drink. Had to give them a treat, since I had the best results among them. After that, gave them a good laugh when I had to climb over my own house gate. My maid didn't know I went out that night, and nobody picked up the house phone when I called. 

Last Sunday:

Started filling out my application forms. 

Day before: Public holiday, and I became my sis' driver for the day. At least I got to practice my driving skills and run over people's curbs at the same time :D I had to reverse quite a number of times because I couldn't get out or turn into my driveway on the first try. My neighbour always parks his lorry opposite my house, and that makes turning into our house quite challenging :P

Yesterday:

Went to the bank to buy a scholarship application form, but turned out it was the wrong one. Went to the other side of town, to find out that the scholarship form is not out yet. After that, went shopping at a local mall and bought a really nice pair of sport shoes that I can wear with my jean skirts, and a pair of beige pointy shoes. Ooh, lovely.

Today:

Went to school to certify my documents and get some things done. Also met up with old friends and classmates, and now I'm just chilling out at home. Literally. Today's a sweltering hot day, so I've switched on the air conditioner. I'll see what I'll do later. Maybe catch up on my MTV or see any nice movies on cable tv :) -- 1:54pm
