I just had a hair cut today! The result? I think I look cute with the bangs in front :) I'm just glad that the hairdresser made then thin bangs and not thick ones, I think that would look awful on me :P

The problem with my hair is that it's frizzy and wavy. My dad's always complaining (actually some people also commented) that it looks messy when I don't tie it up. Whenever a girl with straight, lustrous, Pantene-advertisement-like hair walks by, he'll ask why can't I comb my hair till it's like that. I have to explain that no matter how much I brush my hair, it won't look like that. He'll just say that I have to brush it more!

Besides that, I'm wash and wear hair sort of girl. I do put on hair masks once a week, I use leave-in conditioners, sometimes I blow dry my hair when it's wet, but I'm not that bothered to work it. People have recommended that I straighten my hair, and I was very tempted to, but it's so expensive and I think it looks FAKE O_o And when it's not done properly, your hair wouldn't look nice anymore. Boy, was I glad when messy sexy curls were back in fashion! While fashion-savvy girls rushed to the salons to do the ceramic perm, popularised by Koreans and Japanese girls, I was air-drying my hair and letting my waves be :) Gone are the days when I'd be tugging at my hair in desperation and saying out loud: "Why! Why can't you be straight!"

Two years back I dyed my hair a dark copper colour, and it's still on my hair since it's permanent. I'm not too keen on dyeing my hair again, because my hair is initially dry. The dye made it even drier, so if I didn't moisturise it, it looks like dried grass!

When it comes to hair, I know almost nothing. Since I was young, I've had chin-length hair, and even a short boyish crop for a number of years before I started growing it out into some floppy, school-girlish bob. My hair grows painstakingly slow, thanks to hairdressers gleefully layering my hair, saying: "Waa, your hair is so thick! Layer it for you ah!" *snip snip snip* >_<;; I can count the ways I tie up my hair on one hand. Ask my friends, they'll tell you I always tie my hair up in a ponytail. Occasionally I twist my hair up and clip it with a big metal clip, sometimes I let it down, but that's it.

It was through fashion magazines that I learned for my hair type (wavy, dry), I should use moisture-rich shampoos, conditioners and leave-in conditioners, hair masks, mousse and what not just to tame it. For blow drying my hair, I should use a certain large brush. My friends have offered to teach me how to braid my hair by myself, and suggested different ways to tie up my hair.

From now on, besides looking out for nice earrings, I shall now keep an eye out for hair accessories :D In the mean time, I shall also look for cool bracelets, hehehe. We'll see, we'll see.
