Stranded Twilight

Although this passage is as illuminated as the others, this one has a far darker theme than the rest. Light comes to you in the form of black, iron-cast laterns; proof of the upcoming Western exit. The images flanking the walls here also display a change in taste, now portraying eerie woodlands and the haunting visage of a castle rising up above their moonlit canopy. Ghostly shapes wander the woods and you slowly begin to feel as if there is something more within the image that your gaze simply cannot grasp within the corridor of shifting shadows. However, before you can dwell on these images for too long, you abruptly find yourself climbing the stone steps which exit into the moonlit Western Woods.

In the near distance one can spy the black stone castle which is Stranded Twilight, candle-light shining warmly from the castle's many windows. Although the entire island is under her guard, this castle in particular has become Ravyn's homestead. The building is split into three wings; White Nocturne in the east, Blue Rhapsody in the west, and Ravyn's own private quarters taking up the Northern Wing.

A horse-drawn carriage awaits your use as you emerge from the Aphotic Labyrinth and the coach-door stands open in a welcoming guesture. The driver welcomes you to the Western Wood without introducing himself and within moments you are clattering through the woods to Stranded Twilight; thankful to avoid the walk through these unnerving woods.
