Myrth awoke long before Myrrh, mostly due to the fact that her tollerance for sunlight was no where near that relaxed fool. He had been much more willing to wander under the sunlight, an ability that they gained due to being only a quarter vampire, but due to that same quarter they were cursed with an intollerance to the blinding star. But that was no Myrth's concern, it was finding Myrrh. He was no where to be found, nor was his idiotic little pet. So, with a savage hiss, Myrth headed off toward the only landmark she could place: a large mountain in the near distance. As she approached a pair of Hyena furries exited the mountain to greet her. Myrth's cold eyes narrowed at the sight of strangers approaching, not wanting to deal with them when she could be searching for Myrrh instead. However, if they were natives, then they would be useful enough to tolerate...for the time being. "Who are you two and where am I?" "You're in Mardusion, on Magic Isle." Myrth only narrowed her eyes further. "Have you come for the dragon clutch?" Myrth only glared for a moment before coming to the conclusion that she would probably not be allowed in otherwise. The sun was already searing her eyes to a point where she felt she might go blind, and so, knowing well enough the trouble she was getting into, Myrth agreed. "Yes, I did. Where should I go?" The furries nodded to the demoness, beckoning for her to follow as they turned and headed to the peak of the mountain. It was only while she was following after the pair that she realized the bitter irony she had just brought upon herself. The winged-man had been telling the truth: she was being punished. Slipping her scythe back into it's sheath on her back, Myrth could do nothing more than continue after the two men; mentally cursing herself for having gotten into such a situation all the way. |
