Notes Chamber is the only child of Emily and Vaugn Denzien, two theoretical scientists working on controversial research. Despite a wealth of rumors, few -if anyone- actually knew the true direction of the secretive work. Not the people funding them or even their best friend, Caleb Maxwell. Chamber was utterly oblivious to all of this. She was a happy, average child and went about her childhood like most happy, average children. Her looks weren't remarkable nor homely and she passed through school just under the radar -- not exactly popular but with a small group of friends. On the day of her parents' death, all of this changed. The cause of their deaths and the events surrounding it are as much of a mystery as their research and the only hope of sorting the truth from the rumors now lies in the near catatonic Chamber. Since that event, Chamber has become increasingly detached from the world around her. She is haunted by things that only she can see, nightmares and waking terrors that consume her mind constantly. From time to time Chamber gains brief moments of calm and clarity where she appears to be normal but the fog always returns. Caleb's greatest struggle is to draw her back out of herself and he has given up his many lines of work in order to put his full focus into her care.
