Due to the warped and befuddled nature of Chamber's mind, she and Amarith share an odd bond at best. He is her voice when her downward spirals strike and draw her into that listless void of fear and darkness and he is the light that inadvertently draws her back out again. Caleb is somewhat bitter that Amarith was so swiftly able to achieve what Caleb never could, but Caleb never speaks of this and Amarith has not felt the need to confront it.

Despite the oddity of their bond, Amarith has always been a very kind and loving Bishel. He delights in the simple things in life, such as the sound and smell of the ocean or the rare, fleeting moments of clarity that Chamber experiences. He is determined to one day free her from her mental prison once and for all and to help her uncover the mysteries of her past.

As Chamber grows older, Amarith has become something of a scholar and a psychologist. In his pursuit of saving Chamber, he often spends hours at a time pouring over Caleb's old texts in hope of finding some remedy.
